How do I use RinoFlow?

Phase One

  1. Place the top of the chamber into one nostril and turn on the unit. Breathe normally through your nose while periodically blowing out any mucous. (This takes about two minutes until the saline solution is used up.) The outer chamber will collect any mucous drainage, keeping it separate from the saline.
  2. Turn off the unit and empty the contents of the outer chamber into a sink. Repeat the procedure with your other nostril.

Phase Two

NOTE: Phase Two can only be completed after Phase One has been done.

  1. Turn the outer shell of the chamber to the Phase Two position and add saline solution to the inner chamber according to the directions.
  2. Place the top of the chamber into one nostril and turn on the unit. Breathe normally through your nose and periodically, hold your breath for 30 seconds while holding your opposite nostril closed with your finger. Be sure to keep your mouth closed, too, and swallow occasionally. (This takes about two minutes until the saline solution is used up.)
  3. After both nostrils have been treated, disconnect the tubing from the chamber and empty the drainage. Take the chamber apart and wash it with warm soapy water. Then, allow it to air dry.
